Does Headache Intervention accept insurance?
Unfortunately, we are an out-of-network office and do not accept insurance for visits. While this may be unexpected, our practice is designed to provide accessible, reliable care; something that can be difficult to find in larger healthcare systems. Our appointments are never rushed or double-booked, ensuring each patient receives the time and attention they deserve.
We do, however, work with your insurance plan for all services outside our office, including prescriptions, diagnostic tests or imaging, and Botox medication.
How long are appointments?
initial visits are 60 minutes, and follow-ups are 30 minutes. Procedure visits are also 30 minutes, and follow-up care is managed at these appointments as well.
Does Headache Intervention coordinate with my primary care provider or neurologist (or other kind of healthcare providers)?
Absolutely! Our clinic can coordinate and communicate with your other providers to ensure an effective an streamline level of care.
Where are the offices of Headache Intervention located?
Our offices are located in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. We also maintain a satellite office in Jacksonville, Florida.
Are telemedicine/vitural visits offered?
Yes! We offered virtual visits every day, and in the evening and the weekend when available

Dr. Fred Cohen is licensed in the states of New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania.
What kind of conditions are commonly seen/treated by Headache Intervention?
Migraine, tension-type headaches, and facial pain are the most common conditions seen by our practice. However, Dr. Fred Cohen is boarded certified and equipped and train to handle all matters of head, neck, and facial pain.
